Get Bold Bundles

So you've decided product bundling is right for you store. Great! Here's how to install the app: Click on "Add app,"  then "Install app." Be sure to upgrade to the premium version in your Shopify admin under Settings > Price Plan so that you can also offer BOGOs during your free trial.

How to set up a BOGO free

Here's how to create a buy one get one free deal with Bold Bundles. We used an apron and cookbook for this example. 

Note: If products aren’t loading in the product selector, simply select "Sync Inventory" and it will grab any missing products.

Buy one, get one free: Apron and Cookbook
  • Create New
  • Select Buy/Get (make sure you're on the premium tier, it's free during your trial period)
  • Choose your products
    • Buy these products (customers will need to buy all of these products.)
      • Select Cookbook
          • Get these products (Customer will get all of these products.)
          • Select Apron
  • Set Discount percentage at 100% to reduce the price of the apron to zero dollars.

    • Title your widget (optional) - “Free Apron with your Simply Fresh purchase”
    • Add a flag text (optional) - Buy One Get One Free
    • Select your style - Basic or Bundle with Price

How to set up a BOGO percentage off

Here's how to use Bold Bundles to set up buy one get one at a percentage-off promotion. Here we're using a necklace and earring bundle where shoppers can buy the necklace and get the earrings at 20% off.

    • Buy these products (Customers will need to buy all of these products.)

  • Set Discount percentage at 20% to reduce the price of the earrings by 20%

How to set up combo product bundles

With Bold Bundles, you can sell multiple items as one product by creating a combo product.

This makes it easy for customers to buy multiple products at once. But don't worry, the app will still sync seamlessly with your Shopify inventory and apply the discount individually to each product.

We kept it festive with holiday-themed cookie cutters for our example. Let's walk through!

  • Create New
  • Select Group Bundles
  • Choose your products
    • Select Add Product and select the items in the group bundle
    • Adjust any quantities (if necessary)
  • Set the fixed price to $20
  • Override cents to $0.00

    • Name your combo product (your customers will see this product name)

  • Name your bundle so you can identify it easily on the dashboard
  • Save the bundle
  • Activate the bundle from your dashboard and it will appear on your product pages
  • Once it syncs to Shopify, go to Products within your Shopify Admin
    • Open your new combo product
    • Update the product description, product types, tags, and collection
    • Add a product image (your single product images will load themselves, however you can add additional photos if you have them)

How to set up a gift set product combo

Market your combo product bundles as gift sets to give shoppers the idea to buy them for someone else over the holiday season!

  • Create New
  • Select Group Bundles
  • Choose your products
    • Select Add Product and select the items in the group bundle
    • Adjust any quantities (if necessary)
  • Set the fixed price to $60
  • Override cents to $0.00
  • Combo Product
    • Generate New Product
    • Name your combo product (your customers will see this product name)

    • Select your style - Basic or Bundle with Price
  • Name your bundle so you can identify it easily on the dashboard
  • Save the bundle
  • Activate the bundle from your dashboard and it will appear on your product pages
  • Once it syncs to Shopify, go to Products within your Shopify Admin
    • Open your new combo product
    • Update the product description, product types, tags, and collection
    • Add a product image (your single product images will load themselves, however you can add additional photos if you have them.)


How to set up a Mix & Match bundle

A mix and match bundle gives your customers the option to select two products from different categories. If they purchase products from both specified collections, they automatically get a bundled discount off both products at checkout.

For example, a blanket and throw pillow, or couch cover and pillow case.

  • Set Discount percentage to reduce the price of the bundle
  • Style your Widget
    • Title your widget (optional) -  Save 30%
    • Select your style - Basic or Percent Saved
    • Toggle Show Title as Button to make the categories clickable
  • Name your bundle so you can identify it easily on the dashboard
  • Save the bundle
  • Activate the bundle from your dashboard and it will appear on your product pages


How to set up a group bundle

This is a preset bundle for specific products. When customers buy this combination of products together, they'll automatically get the specified discount off all included products.

    • Select Add Product
  • Update the quantity to your desired amount
  • Set discount to 30% (or a discount of your choice)
