We just added a pretty cool little feature to our Product Options app! If you have the premium version of the app, your customers can now edit their options right inside the cart. Before, they would've had to remove the item, go back to the product page and start all over.
Why is this so awesome? Our Product Options app allows you to create very sophisticated sets of options with multiple text lines, text areas, image uploads, etc, you name it! Now imagine a customer spending a lot of time selecting all their choices, entering custom text and filling out all the fields, only to realize that after adding it to the cart they made one simple spelling mistake. You can imagin how frusterated they'd be! They would have to remove the item from the cart, go back to the product page and start all over again... There's a good chance you might even lose the customer and the sale!
Introducing Editable Options in the Cart!
With the latest upgrade to our Product Options Shopify app your customers can simply edit the options in the cart and be on their way! You can enable it as a slide down feature, or as a pop-up. Below are examples of both options.

How do you get this feature?
If you do not have the app:
If you don't already have the Shopify Product Options app installed you can grab a free trial here, or by clicking the button below. You'll need to make sure you upgade to the premium version of the app as this is a premium feature. If you're on your free trial you can use the premium version for free :-)
If you have the Basic version of the app:
If you just have the standard version and not the premium version you'll need to upgrade. The good news is you'll get a lot of other features too such as conditional logic, price adjusting and few ther goodies! In the app just go to "Account Information" and then "Account Settings" and you can upgrade there. You'll also need to install the upgraded liquid code which you can find insructions for under the "Help" menu. Or, if you have trouble with the code and are upgrading to the premium version, let us know and we'll do it for you.
If you have the Premium version of the app:
If you have the Premium version of the app you're almost good to go! There's a small bit code that needs to be updated on your cart for it to work. You can find instructions for that here, or if you're not good with liquid just email our support team at email@example.com and we'd be happy to do it for you :-)
