Good Day eRetailers (eTailers?),

Many of you have already heard of Bold Apps, in fact, that’s how you got on our mailing list. Well, the same guys and gals who brought you such Shopify App Store hits as ‘Product Upsell’, ‘Product Options’, and ‘Customer Pricing’ are now expanding our eCommerce expertise with the newly reformed Bold Commerce department. We figured that since we have helped more than 13,000 customers with their eCommerce stores in one way or another, whether they’re using our apps, or we’ve helped them set up a store, customized their software, or designed their website, it’s only fitting that we begin to promote ourselves as a full service eCommerce web company. After all, we are store owners too, and we are experts in all things eCommerce.

As we say, we do eCommerce, and we do it eAwesome (I’m not sure if anyone has actually said that).

That means that while our software stands out as being designed specifically to help your store make more sales --the eCommerce part -- it’s the team that makes it all happen.  We are a group of young ambitious, creative web developers, designers, and entrepreneurs who rock out on foosball, Mario Kart, and remote-control-helicopter type of shenanigans when we need to unwind -- the eAwesome part.

We’re coming off a very big year for a very new company. We grew from 2 employees to 15, and are jumping up to 19 or 20 by the end of the month.

We moved in to a new office. And now we’re moving into a newer, bigger office.

We have 2 foosball tables, 3 gaming consoles, an expanding kitchen and bar, a pool table on order, and Friday afternoon team building competitions that rarely ever end up in arguments over technicalities (yes James, a paper airplane actually needs to have wings and gliding capabilities to count.)

What we’re really looking forward to is the next year of growth, the new apps in development and the monster to-do list.  And as I mentioned, we are excited to be expanding our eCommerce services to really become a full service internet retailing software company.

We’re taking on more work building custom eCommerce websites from the ground up - of course still using the amazing Shopify platform-- helping retailers sync their brick and mortar shops with their online stores using a new POS system that allows in-store merchants to make sales on the floor using an iPad rather than at the cash registers (Cash registers are so 1890’s).

We are selling our services as bundled packages including the website, custom development, and our most popular Apps. We’re even providing the photography and creative services to really help manufacturers, distributors, and retailers get their stores caught up to the ever expanding world of online sales.

EMarketer predicts that Online U.S. Retail Sales will grow from $225.5 Billion in 2012, to $434.2 billion in 2017 and Forrester Research says that in 2017 10% of U.S. retail sales will occur online.

Singles Day in China saw more the $5.7 billion in retail sales in a single day. Cyber Monday last year hit $2.29 billion.

It’s our firm belief that if something can be sold, it can be sold online, and we want to help make that happen.

We are smart, we’re driven, and we started off as retailers ourselves, so we know what our customers go through, what they want, and how to help them make more online sales.

Tune in to our regular podcasts, blogs, videos, tweets, retweets, posts, likes, pins, shares, and everything else we can do to help our customers get some more information on how to make their eCommerce a little more eAwesome!

We'll be in touch,
